Rachel Garcia became a teacher in 2004 and has been honored to serve in various capacities in both public and private education since. With teaching experience in grades 2-8, and a love of pedagogy, particularly in the area of dual language, Mrs. Garcia is passionate about using her expertise in instructional leadership toward the goal of educational equity. Having taught in Portland, New York City and Seattle’s public schools, as well as worked as instructional coach, educational consultant and Vice Principal, Mrs. Garcia is thrilled to be taking on the new challenge of Interim Principal at Holy Family Bilingual Catholic School. Rachel has her two children, Joaquín and Belén, with her at Holy Family, and loves being able to directly invest in the education of her children through her service.
