Karina Chamorro

Position: 3rd grade Dual Language Teacher

Ms. Chamorro is in her second year at Holy Family. She is originally from Managua, Nicaragua, and she graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Political Science and minors in Peace Studies and Education, Schooling & Society. She is a second year teacher with the Pacific Alliance for Catholic Education (PACE), a Master’s program through the University of Portland. One thing she is passionate about is making sure the youth understand that they have a voice and deserve to be heard. Outside of the classroom, Ms. Chamorro enjoys discovering the beauty of the Pacific Northwest by going on hikes and nature walks.
